Nowadays, ecohydrology is considered a foundational approach for sustainable development in watersheds. Authors in this field aim to better understand the interactions between hydrological cycles and ecosystem behaviors, examining the challenges caused by human activities that disrupt the delicate balance between water resources and environmental sustainability. These issues are critical to human food supply, soil conservation, and environmental aesthetics.
The journal of Ecohydrology is a scientific-research publication of the University of Tehran and the Iranian Watershed Management Association. The journal aims to familiarize professors, specialists, experts, and students in ecohydrology, natural resources, environmental science, and water engineering and management with the latest research across various topics, including engineering, management, and planning of water resources in both natural and human-made ecosystems.
The journal publishes scientific-research articles in ecohydrology. Authors must electronically submit their articles via the "Submit Article" page and follow the review process. Once fully reviewed and revised, accepted articles are published. The journal prioritizes high-quality articles and expedites the review process to notify authors promptly of the results.
