Welcome to the Scientific Journal of "Ecohydrology," University of Tehran

Scientific Journal of Ecohydrology, University of Tehran

Today, ecohydrology is considered a foundation for sustainable development in watersheds. Authors in this field focus on understanding the interaction between hydrological cycles and ecosystem behavior, while also addressing issues caused by human activities that disrupt the delicate balance between water resources and environmental sustainability. These interactions are crucial for food security, soil protection, and the aesthetic value of the environment.

The Ecohydrology Quarterly is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of New Sciences and Technologies at the University of Tehran in collaboration with the Iranian Association of Watershed Management. It has been awarded a "scientific" ranking in the latest evaluation by the Ministry of Science. The journal aims to introduce professors, specialists, experts, and students in ecohydrology, natural resources, environmental sciences, water engineering, and management to new research in various fields related to engineering, managing, and planning water resources in natural and human-made ecosystems.

This journal, published in collaboration with the Iranian Association of Watershed Management, focuses on ecohydrological topics (please refer to the objectives and perspectives section in the journal's information section) and publishes scientific-research articles. Authors are required to submit their manuscripts electronically through the "Submit Manuscript" page and follow the review process. Submitted manuscripts will undergo comprehensive peer review, and, if approved, will be published after necessary revisions. The journal prioritizes selecting high-quality articles and expediting the review process to ensure timely feedback to authors.
